I found a texture pack I really like on a server and was wondering if there was a way to obtain the pack and use it anywhere.

yeah on texturepacks and then like server texture packs u can find the file there

I have like 20 different files how am I supposed to know what one it is?

Alright I found the file would I create a winrar zip archive, move all the contents into it and and it to my texture packs now? or

Just put into a normal zip I believe.
