New scientific information suggests that water doesn't behave as a liquid until after there are more than six molecules. ... So, by the definition of wet, which is the condition of being covered or soaked in liquid, then water isn't wet, it just makes other things wet.

Water is neither dry nor wet. Being wet implies that it can be dried. You can't dry water and still have water

Being a liquid, water is not itself wet, but can make other solid materials wet.

Wetness is the ability of a liquid to adhere to the surface of a solid, so when we say that something is wet, we mean that the liquid is sticking to the surface of a material.

Haha all of the people with incorrect things that think they are cool by saying something "scientific".

Hello, biochemist-in-training here...

So water has this chemical property called "cohesion", this basically means that like molecules of water stick to each other via hydrogen bonding, electrostatic interactions, etc.

The first definition of water from www.dictionary.com is "moistened, covered, or soaked with water or some other liquid".

Considering that water does stick to itself when other water molecules are around and having the definition specifically state that something must be "moistened, covered, or soaked..." proves that water is wet.

Water is H2O. :D it's wet because it's in the form of a liquid, end of discussion. Kappa

Some say it is wet, some say it is dry.
However, the truth is water is a hoax invented by water bottle companies to trick you into believing you need to be hydrated.

How did the date go? I need to know! :D

Answering to the thread: Water is wet.
She enjoyed it, we ended up not working out but I was really appreciated everything everyone else did, and now I got a well paying job and a lot of freetime so I'll see if I can drop some money inside of the the begging forum. :) (for anyone who is wondering what Cooper is referring to, he is talking about the thread link in my signature: http://bit.ly/32vIfwV)

I still stand my position on my water, just if your curious.
