Is Windows 10 Pro worth it?

Are you a home user who does basic work on the computer such as game, browse, emails, etc? Or do you do lots of development, workstation tasks, etc?

Personally, I don't game much at all but I do quite a bit of configuration and what not. Anything that is important for my current staff positions in EnchantedMC, SkyPrime, and HypexMC really.

Considering Home is cheaper and it doesn't seem like you are much of an enthusiast, go Home.

The only reason to get Pro is if you either want to delay Windows updates for months or you want to remotely access your pc (which can be done with 3rd party apps).

DO NOT GET HOME. Windows installs a bunch of shit which is really hard to remove without the group policy editor.

Yes, I know. I'm probably gonna stick with Windows 10 Home for now, maybe some Linux too.

Windows 10 Pro is extremely useful, my favourite part about it is that you do not need to update whenever it tells you to, you can turn off auto updates. There are also many other features listed https://gyazo.com/ee11605e48ba4de1594f83163f315416

But once again, it is fully up to you whether you wish to update or not.
