ISO Administrator to hold Senior Position on Network

Greetings!

I am Zachary// thenzs, the owner of an ambitious, small, but growing network. We currently host two gamemodes and have a third in the works. At the moment, we are bouncing back from a maintenance closure that ran late. Due to our current position and my perception of upcoming staffing needs, I am looking to bring on a new Server Administrator. Details are below.

I am choosing to fill this position on my own accord, separate from the networks page and typical hiring formalities.

Position Requirements:

• Not currently working for or consulting with other Minecraft servers,
• Aged 16+,
• Has a minimum of six (6) months in a managerial or administrative position working for a Minecraft server,
• Able to dedicate a minimum of two (2) hours per day to the server,
• Able to communicate with other staff members, and coordinate higher-order projects,
• Well-versed in working with plugins, on and off server configuration, and console.

Position Description:

• Oversee all day to day operations of the network,
• Coordinate events, launches, new-features between departments,
• Ensure departments (Moderation, Gamemodes) are running smoothly, and assist in solving issues when they arise,
• Ensure server protocols are followed by all staff members,
• Assist in installation and configuration of files,
• Assist in managing the off-server presence of the network,
• Hire and manage the staff team from a strategic view,
• Assist in procuring required assets such as plugins and builds,
• Other duties as assigned and needed.

dude why would anyone do this for free... Pay the person at least $20 a week (almost nothing) if you won't even let them work on other servers.

Considering the expectations and responsibilities you outlined for this position, it's going to be very hard for you to find someone who is willing to fill it without any monetary compensation.

I am with everyone else here. That amount of dedication needed to fulfill roles like those without anything in return as a reward isn't the best way to hire a senior staff member. Personally, while volunteering as a senior staff member was fun for me, and still is, the amount of work and dedication to fulfill everything laid out in the position description wouldn't be ideal without some type of payment/compensation for their work. Much larger networks with the same job description would have a better chance at hiring based on the compensation for the work they are putting in. The only people who would work for you would be new starting out members who wish to get a feel for how the role would react, especially in an unpaid situation, which isn't ideal for running a server or business.

the job you give is almost as much if not more than the owner it self. like the fck and than not get paid..... unless someone wants just experience nobody wants to do it for no reward. mcm is more for experienced people so they 95% expect some kind of pay.
