Hello,

I work with a highly established server, and we are currently facing this issue: random lag spikes with an interval of 1-2 seconds.

Although these spikes are minor, it is still frustrating to see the server hitting these random spikes, and I was kindly wondering if anyone has any suggestions or fixes.

I can promise you, it's not our timings. Our servers run on great machines, and remain steady within the 18-20 tps range during the spikes.

From my best assumption, it would be every time the world decides to autosave. How would I go around fixing this?

Thanks!

Autosave will probably do that for you. How long is the interval between each autosave?

Are you using Tuinity 1.15.2? And have you optimized the YAML files for each jar accordingly?

Imma ask u a few basic questions just so others don't have to, what plugins are you using, what spigot are you using, also you should always provide a timings report saying that their not the issue is not what their for, their for debugging. What are your current machines specs. anyways best of luck to you.

I had this problem aswell.

Resolved it by making sure
"view-distance" was the same in both

| spigot.yml
| server.properties

If not I can help, add me into a convo and
we'll get started.

Thank me by tipping :p

Could you further explain what you mean by that please?

I have no idea what Tuinity is so im assuming not. And the configs for each plugin are all optimized, yeah.[DOUBLEPOST=1592650832][/DOUBLEPOST]

16gb we're using 6 max.
If you have that much RAM to spare, I'd look into Cinnamon or ZGC. The "lag" could be your server freezing during long periods of garbage collection. You already have my Discord, if you have any questions let me know.

@op please post a timings report. I see you've said that won't be the issue but it'll help
