The reason I say this is because I have to have 3 Minecrafts open nowadays. Some servers are stuck on 1.8, some on 1.9.2, and 1.9.4. You cannot connect to 1.9.2 servers on a 1.8 client and you cannot connect to 1.9.4 through a 1.9.2 client. Due to the crack downs, we may need 2 Minecrafts open for the rest of its life. The reason being, even if we make it to 10.0 (or whatever they will call it) some servers will stay on 1.9.2 because of EULA enforcement. I thought I would just rant a little bit.

This is very true, unless EULA change there guidelines which is very unlikely. Although if they do eventually shut down all servers they will realise no one will play on the newer versions of Minecraft so they may change the EULA.

1.10 released so now you(and me/other users) need to use 4 versions in total :)

Why they don't do like ios. Stop signing (very) old versions :/

You mean drop support for them? Shut down the auth servers for versions older then 1.9.4? That would be good for them but suck for users.

Yeah that sucks... But if 1.8 and 1.9 were connected(like the plugin ViaVersion does)...
