Hello everyone, as we all know summer is here (and has been for a while). This marks the peak season when 14 year old minecrafters will come up with poorly thought out impersonation scam attempts.
I log on to blockmania to link my account. Right off the bat, I get a message from someone claiming they want to buy it. I don't really want to sell but I thought I'd bite anyway and see where this goes.
So, pretty poor scam attempt with absolutely laughable excuses. He guessed the message I said partially right and I saw that ZackIsTheBest hadn't even been online in hours. Furthermore, it makes no sense for him not to reply to my PM and try to do a deal in-game which is extremely inconvenient.
I then got this reply when ZackIsTheBest did come online:
The reason I'm posting this here is so people stop falling for these poorly attempted scams. Apparently ZackIsTheBest has had many more impersonators like this that take advantage of when a user is suspended. As always, remember to only deal on-site or at least verify on-site first so you know the member is who they say they are and the PM can be used as evidence if the deal goes wrong.
