So, I've been considering getting a new car. Why you ask? The purpose the current car I have was to build credit. This way, whenever I do decide to not only get another car I could get whatever car I wanted finances, not only this, but long term, i'd be saving money; I wouldn't be getting hit with massive amounts of interest, which ultimately makes things more affordable.

So, here's the options and my opinion on each respective car. I want to hear the opinion of others, ultimately because I just enjoy hearing people's opinions. It's nice.

Anyway, one very good car I really want is:

Volvo S60 Inscription T5 FWD/AWD, with all the options I want, it's roughly $49,000 MSRP. It's really not that bad for what this car has to offer, especially with styling.

If a car isn't listed that you think I'd like, feel free to post about it.

A car shouldnt be more than 20% of your annual income, ideally 10-15%. Very few things beat the Lexus but im not much of a car guy

I don't need finance advice.

The budget is $50,000 MSRP, I won't be disclosing details regarding down payments. However, I can assure you this is well within my budget as far as a monthly payment comes. I currently have a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta, of which I only pay $335/mo for, and that is with a 12.5% interest rate. This car is going to be used for equity for my sister to also build her credit.

Get a 1999 Fiat Multipla. Google it if you've never seen one.

This is something I would consider. I did not mention it because everyone here would flood the voting with Tesla, making it bias as fuck.

No BMW's, the cars are meant to last awhile. Volvos, Lexus, and Volkswagen (And, if properly maintained, Benz) can last awhile.

Definitely Mercedes. Personally, I think it has the best exterior as well as interior and you get the prestige.

Yes, it's a very sexy car. I test drove one and absolutely adored it.

Whatever you get, keep it well maintained so it lasts a long time

Yep, this is the single most important rule to go by.

Ik everyone is for Tesla, I do agree with them but on a lesser note and for a different reason. Point I would bring up is you save money on gas, so you get double savings (on the gas not being used, and your credit being low).

I like benz but another cat i like thats not listed is audi

Audi is not listed because the only reasonable Audi I could purchase within the budget is an a4. While they're nice cars, for the same money - you could purchase a higher trim Volkswagen Arteon, which essentially is the same thing.

However, the Audi a8 is a very sexy car. It's ass is unmistakably one of the most attractive on the market now.

I personally just purchased a 2019 Porsche 911 Turbo S, and I'm very excited for it. That's outside of the budget you've set, though. It's also less of a daily driver than it seems you may want. Out of your list I'd definitely recommend either the Volvo or the Mercedes. I've test driven both and I like different aspects of each. If you're more concerned with maintenance costs and maintaing it for the next 5-10 years, I'd say go with the Volvo. Very sleek interior and exterior and parts are cheaper than the Mercedes.

No, Porsche is not a car that i'd want. It's meant to be a daily luxury driver, not a sports car or hypercar.

Tell that to the 1.87 0-60mph Kappa. I get what you mean though. Like I said, I definitely recommend the Volvo out of the list you provided.

If I wanted something like that, I'd likely get a tesla model S plaid edition

Makes sense. I wasn't implying you did or didn't want a supercar or anything, that's why I said the porsche I got doesn't seem like the type of car you'd want  This is the last reply I'm gonna make since we're just having a discussion and I don't want to fill up your thread <3
