Was wondering what you developers use for coding plugins (don't say Eclipse) as Eclipse isn't working.

If people could tell me FREE programs to code Java with I'd appreciate it.

I always use JetBrains products when ever I can They keep a good median between each IDE.

JetBrains all the way! By the way, if you can prove you are a student (by using a school ID or any other paper which proves you are a student), you can get all their Ultimate products for one year! Go check it out over at https://www.jetbrains.com/student/

I, also, use all JetBrains IDE's for Web & Java development.

Just curious, whats the problem with eclipse?

Runs slower for me and I find the features in IntelliJ incredibly useful (I know there are plugins for eclipse to do alike but it's just not quite the same) and the UI is more preferable for how I work, just personal preference I guess.

Can't find the main class, meaning the plugin won't work. I have tried to fix it but can't be bothered when I know there are other ones just as good if not better.

I use PHPStorm from jetbrains, but that is a paid product.

I use Webstorm and PHPStorm but you could also try something like Sublime if your looking for a free alternative.
