i really want to learn how to code plugins and i found this kind of promising looking course
but i need a second opinion on the website "https://www.spigotcourse.org/"
and which bundle should i buy to learn how to code

You really don't need to pay anyone to learn the tiny bit of java required to get started programming.[DOUBLEPOST=1564177975][/DOUBLEPOST]If you can't problem solve and figure out java on your own you're not going to do well with development in general. Don't expect things to happen just because you threw money at it.

dont waste you money on a spigot programming course, if anything spend money on an actual java programming course, then learn spigot api afterwards. You really don't need to know much java to get the basic stuff done, but anything even slightly more complex requires Object Oriented Programming (OOP) knowledge.

Spigot course does that, and learning spigotAPI after learning java is like learning Russian when you just learned English, they are totally different, and spigot api unlogical and weird

They aren't different at all. Once you learn Java you can easily follow the spigot API documentation and/or make sense of other people's open source code.

What are you talking about? Spigot API is written in Java, hence if you know Java you can easily understand the api.

But how spigot works is not how java works, in java, do you see anything like blockfaces, as a new dev what is blockfaces, chances are he will have no clue, ask him what input can it have at PistonMoveReaction? He won’t have a clue. Ask him what is PortalCreateEvent.CreateReason. He won’t know, that’s why he needs documentation to show you how it works, you have to learn something else because it is DIFFERENT. Now try to say I’m wrong, if I was wrong then people learning java would know what blockfaces are in spigot, they would know PistonMoveReaction, they would know PortalCreateEvent.CreateReason.

That was by far the dumbest shit I've read on this site, not going to bother responding anymore. StupidGirl In my opinion I wouldn't pay for it and try to learn Java by yourself.
