Minecraft yeah. For now, then expand later in my life.[DOUBLEPOST=1515644651][/DOUBLEPOST]
I see that you are looking for a java developer to teach you the basics, but are you looking for it to be just used for Minecraft? or general java that could help out in other projects?

Also are you trying to learn JavaScript?

In the past few years there has been insane development in the JavaScript language. JSON has taken over to be one of the most popular ways to transfer data. Node.js was released that would allow you to build servers in JavaScript. Frameworks like Ember.js, and Backbone.js are powering the creation of thousands of crazy interactive web applications and have increasing pushed the limits of JavaScript way further than anyone would have expected it would have gone.

I'll teach you for free if you just want to know basics of java (not trying to teach everything as there is a lot of websites that already can teach you everything that you could possibly need)
STRICTLY Minecraft.

You don't have to pay people to be a mentor to you. You have Discords where people are happy to share their knowledge with newcomers for FREE. Do like everyone else who got into Minecraft plugins. Watch TheNewBoston Java series to get your feet wet and learn some basic knowledge. Purchase a Java course on Udemy and make friends on with developers on Discord. I can assure you that most of them. Including myself like to get into voice channels and talk about programming to other developers. And don't say I just want to learn Java to code Minecraft plugins. Java was made for more than simple MC plugins. Don't be trying to get into this area because of the money. Even though it looks cool and it is when you're looking at it from an outsider. You have to dedicate yourself to studying and reading documentation/wikis/forums hours a day and the next day and the next day. This isn't like a journey you go through and when you get to the end. You're done. Nah. A new framework/lib or API in the Java terminology comes out like every month I swear it feels like. At least in web development area and it can become overwhelming at first when choosing what to learn. The money is just the perks that come with it for the things you have to sacrifice. Don't go learning Bukkit before you learn Java. That's like people learning Bootstrap before they learn actual CSS. You become dependant on that API/lib so when it goes away or get discontinued. Now you're stuck figuring out what to do next. And last but not least. Don't aim to be Minecraft developer. Aim for something bigger and beyond instead of having the goal of coding for 15-year-olds who pay you their weekly snack money for a plugin which honestly isn't a lot in this community as the majority of the people underestimate how much work goes on. Aim to get a job as a programmer and actually get into the community(GitHub, BitBucket, Programming forums) and industry so you can look back 5-10 years from now and possibly be working at Google, Microsoft, Spotify, or at least meet the requirements that the average developer might not have. I'm only 19 and I program to set myself up so I can pay my mom bills and do all that shit in the future. I think about where I'll be at in like 10 years from now which is the average amount of time for a senior developer in this field who make upwards of 160K-200K a year. I'll be in my 30s by then. Probably working at Google or Microsoft with 10 years of experience under my belt. That's a good feeling. Once you work for a really well-known company like Google or Spotify. You're set. All the other companies are going to be quick to hire you just because you have I worked for Microsoft on your resume for example.
Dam how long have you been typing

Truthfully, you are better off trying to learn yourself with someone there you can ask for help once you have the basics down. It isn't hard to learn the basics of Java either, once you start getting used to them everything only goes up hill from there. Also this shouldn't be something you pay people for unless they are explicitly spending time with you and showing you everything and they request it. I would gladly help you if you still need someone, my discord is Matthew#4170 if you want to contact me. :)

Good luck bro <3
