Java or Kotlin?

Hi everyone,

So I've been a Java developer for about 2 years now. I honestly really like Java, of course it's no where near perfect though. I heard a while back that Jetbrains (the company behind IntelliJ) made a new programming language called Kotlin. It appears to "fix" what Java didn't do that great on, and Jetbrains claims it's 100% compatible with Java IIRC. I wanted to know what you guys think though?
