Hey!
I'm Johnathan Eilers, and i'm looking for a job as a Support Technician at any hosting company. I'm not necessarily looking for pay for at least the first month, but it'd be nice just to earn some extra money. It also allows you guys to ensure i'm legit, and even if i'm not, you don't lose a dime. I've been bored over the summer, and still have a few weeks to go until school. This is also what I do for fun.

About Me: I'm a current network owner, and I have configured the entirety of it all myself. I used to also be a server host, but ended that because of little to no customers. I know how to build multiple server boxes (nodes), how to hook them up via Multicraft, how to make a Minecraft server, and everything that goes with port forwarding/triggering if necessary. I know essentially all of Multicraft inside and out, and how everything works in terms of the panel, and the back-end of a server. I know little about WHMCS, but I'm willing to learn if necessary.

Hope someone out there considers me! My public Skype is JohnathanPlays if anyone wants to contact me.

Hosts don't browse forums looking for employees. Try reaching out to a few different hosts you would like to work for, and sending them your resume. The worst they can do is say no. Also, please please please be sure to check out their website before applying. I get loads of job requests from people who obviously haven't taken the time to briefly browse my website and discover my jobs page says "no open positions". :p

Thanks for the insight, guys! Where would I find said companies? I want to start small, and Google searches yield big well known companies that aren't hiring. I'm going to look around MCM later today.

Does this mean you have linux skills?

I have some small tasks that I need a linux guy for.

Yep! I'm very familiar with Linux Server edition as well as Desktop edition. The Linux command line is one of my strong points.

To me, this implies you're looking for a job being able to fix and manage the physical servers, in which case you can't do that over the internet. What do you mean by that?

I meant like when people have problems with their servers and send in a support ticket, I would be able to troubleshoot and fix it for them.
