we are starting new semi-vanilla whitelisted server Jowland.
About the server – our goal is to create community server similar to Hermitcraft. As mentioned before, server is semi-vanilla. That means, outside of added custom items and few plugins, the game is pretty much like vanilla Minecraft. Special items can be bought or sold at designeted trader. The servers economy is based on item for item exchange. We have no unnified currency.
Our spawn is riddled with secret locations, hidden treasure chests and daily challanges. We are planning some events to keep players entertained outside normal Minecraft.
Everyone who wishes to join the server, must pass the simple whitelist test to prove, that each player knows rules of our server. We want players know rules and principles of the server. We are not using any landclaim plugins, only protection against thievs amd griefers is simply to not have any on our server. We want to trust our players. Althoug we we have a CoreProtect (to help us find any griefer or thief) if something goes wrong.
And now to the main point of this post. We don’t want to become a big server, we aim to capture an interest of a few individuals who are looking for this kind of server.
We are looking for youtubers or streamers (or both), who are enjoying playing survival and would be willing play on our server to promote it to players who enjoy survival too. You can even become a member of our team (if you want to ofc), helping us to improve and expand the server (building, creating events, etc..).
Server is in early state, we are preparing it and planning opet after 1.16 release and plugin updates (my guess May/Jun). Server is not open yet, but you can join after contacting me.
What we can offer:
Honestly, not much. As an owner, I am paying all the expences that come from a server hosting, website hosting and even our own domain. I am running everything in my free time just for fun and for the community. We don’t have any VIP system. Money to our server can only be donated. Every penny from donations goes to the server itself (helping us to cover the cost of server hosting etc..).
But we can offer friendly community, with burning passion for Minecraft.
