Just a thought about Covid 19 Pandemic !!

It seems like we are adjusting to the new way of life alongside the corona virus. Many countries has declared that they are covid free, for instance, Vietnam , New Zealand etc but this ongoing Pandemic will take time to disappear.

Many countries are heading the wrong way in fighting the corona and they can infect the rest of the countries of the world with a strong version of covid as we see in the zombie movies.

I fear the worst is about to come in the coming winters.

However i am hopeful about 2 things.

1. We might break the record in human history and have the fastest vaccine this time since alot of effort is being invested.
2. if the vaccine is not here then the world will turn like the movie "Ready Player One" where people will be making a living in the virtual reality.

Share your thoughts on the road the world is heading. I would like to hear your piece of mind.

Yeah, its possible about the fastest vaccine development time, but I think it's unreasonable to think that everyone will just turn to videogames. You can't really run an economy on them anyway.

In my opinion, the vaccine is not the end of where this will all end, after all the world have been affected both socially and economically and tbh, life might never be the same ever. Many have sacrificed for the cause but maybe not all everyone may appreciate. Furthermore the people post "cured" from corona have problems regarding their body functions so the scientists may have to find something for that. Also year 2020 marks if not humanity's darkest times in such a long time furthermore racism issues, war between countries have been added to the mix, it will take a very long time before it will all come to a standstill back to our normal humble life.

So far there's been no confirmed covid19 mutations, while this is being looked for quite extensively because there is a chance it will mutate into a nastier virus.
Also if people would just use common sense and basic hygiene it would save everyone a lot of trouble.

tbh people just need to stop going out for unimportant reasons like to see friends or go shopping or traveling to home country/other countries on vacation. This would help the spread of the virus slow down. It's unfortunate how many idiots there are in this world who argue that they don't want to wear a mask because they live in a free country where they can do as they wish, like gtfo your legit part of the problem that we still are in quarantine

WEARING A MASK IS NOT A F***ING POLITICAL STATEMENT, IT'S BASIC HUMAN DECENCY. I've watched way too many physical brawls online because people do not want to wear a mask and even seen arguments in person. Wearing a mask doesn't make you a sheep and also you have no "constitutional right" to not have to wear a mask.

Also similar to what someone said above, I don't see too many people resorting to tech like that for money like you say, way too many stubborn old people. Maybe we can see something like that in a few hundred years

It is really unfortunate :/ people have become so "drunk" on freedom these days... The argument of a violation of one's rights to be required to wear a mask is so stupid. People really let the fact that a private company can have their own rules and enforce them themselves fly by.

Whole situation sucks, you're right people do need to work but I feel like that was never really the issue, it's the unreasonably high percentage of people in this country who have treated the situation like a joke - including the people high up. a LOT of deaths could have been prevented if the US handled the situation differently and that's a fact.

We gotta remember it was only a week ago that the commander in cheeto decided to wear a mask for the first time

Yeah this Pandemic has taken us on a back step. It will take long for the world to recover from the economical crisis. Sometimes I wonder this was a needed approach by God to bring stop global warming for a little while and to make the humans realize that there is more to life than making money.

Yeah sooner or later ones who can afford to stay at home will run out of resources and they have to stand in line with the rest of the folks to earn the bread and make a living. US has declared that their pandemic help package will impact the economy and they see no hope of economy recovery before 2030. I wonder how the rest of the world will cope up in these trying times.
