Put simply: Lowballers / Price dictators.

This seems like something people just do for fun. It pretty much happens on every thread nowadays. A few months back, there used to be good builds in the Build discussion. Now, there's not too many. Why? People don't understand prices and enforce their own opinions harshly.

It's not your price.

They sell it if they sell it.

The worst part of it? It usually starts a flame war and renders the post useless. It's just messed up.

One person recommending a BIN change is fine, but when there's more than 1 person doing it, that's when the line is crossed, or if that individual carries it on.

Due to the fact there are a bunch of people here trying to get rich off making some cheap server and getting 5 players to donate inb4 they shut it down, the pricing of everything non-OGAccs is utter crap. I know one time I offered a $10 build service and some kid came to me asking if I could help him, then he asked if I could set up his server, then his website and domain and blah blah blah and never even paid me. I mean there was a thread telling some Pandora's Box member that their builds were trash and I'm like are you srs m9? The reason builders aren't flocking to MCM is due to the fact people are toxic, and something needs to be done about it .-.

In my opinion, the seller will set his/her price. If you don't like it, you don't have to buy it. Simple as that.

A buyer can make an offer if they are interested in the item, but don't recommend they lower the BIN or whatever, especially if you dont intend on buying the item in the first place. (I see this happen alot.) The seller can sell it for whatever they want. The laws of supply and demand will o what they're suppose to do by themselves.

If you're asking for an appraisal, people can generally post whatever they want (anything too extreme may be considered trolling though).
If you're simply selling something and have a "buy it now" price posted, if people say it's only worth $1, that's sales trashing (unless they provide proof or a good reason for their analysis).
So if you see comments like "lol this junk worth 2 rupees" report it and a staff member will deal with it.

Neither of these really apply to what the thread is adressing. I don't think you've noticed it or are just perhaps one of the members who thinks as so. I'm reffering to members who, don't exactly say it's worth $1, but they'll cry about the price in every post. As I said, one person saying that is fine, as long as they don't carry it on. But; when theres 3 people posting about it and continuously posting, which is often the case, it renders the threat useless.

If what I posted doesn't solve the issue, is there anything you can propose to help solve the issue you've described?

Create a more professional community in the threads where things are being sold
Good luck with that on this forum
