It's the best looking, best operating system, and best general use computer you can buy.

Gaming on it is probably not a good idea, but gamers have custom comps. as well, don't they? I use my MBP (Late 2013, 2.8 GHz i7, 16 GB DDR3) for all everyday tasks, including schoolwork, and my build for gaming...

can you elaborate? I use my macbook air for school, and when I am not at home. However I still really don't like the keyboard and basically the OS. Obviously that is my fault, but everything that the mac does a surface pro could do it better and for a cheaper price. To this day I regret spending money on a mac laptop.

On the other hand, I love the keyboard and OS.
Also, I'm thinking of getting a MacBook air - is it worth it and can it play mediumly resource using games such as CSGO + run MC smoothly?

not at all. It overheats when playing Minecraft for 15 minutes. Haven't tried csgo but I bet it will lag like balls
