Kaboom Networks
____________________

Attention!
We've halted progress with Kaboom Networks. We had a fallout with our
development team and our funding has decreased exponentially.

We do have plans to launch in the future, however for now we'll be
focusing on other projects.

Thank you for your support.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Yes, I can write a great application. However, does it have to be short and why is it in a file format? My applications usually consist of me going in depth with each asset.

We're not gonna limit you to a certain amount of detail. The length is 100% up to you.

We like to see our applicants take an opportunity and turn it into a project. We value soft skills and creativity, we'd like to see all applicants format, write, and submit a proper cover letter that doesn't just give us the information; but includes your creative side. Since your comment, we've removed that particular part of the Moderator application from being required. However, for Administrators we'll still be requiring one.

I don't like the idea of people working for percentages of the servers profit, especially if they make a large amount of custom plugins and give full right to the owner, and the server makes 0 profit, or just about 5 dollars, they would get 5 cents. And considering the owner of the network would have partial ownership of that plugin as it was made for his server in trades for a percentage in server profit the developer made nothing out of the plugin and the owner could resell the plugin for profit that he would be forced to give to any developer. That's not what anyone would want, I'd suggest if you want some quite advanced developers you're probably going to want to pay them per plugin.

Our developers do not own the plugins they create whilst working with us. All plugins and work is copyrighted under the business, similar to any other business/company that employs software developers. The content is legally the businesses' and we have full rights to it. However, the specific developer has some rights to the work. For example, a developer who makes an entire mini-game, may keep the code on their GitHub or other database/resume; However, they're not licensed to use or sell it to anyone.

any new info on mod applications? like who got accepted etc

Me or the owner will be contacting you determining if you got accepted or not. It's a huge group of applicants, so this may take time. Developers are still not underneath my ruling.

At the moment we are roughly estimating a few thousand USD. However, with our prices for donations not figured out yet, as well as not having the percentage of the release sale figured out yet either, we can only make an rough estimate.

Payment is earned:
- Owners are all paid
- Lead Developers are given salary
- Developers are given part-time salary or 1% in company
- Lead Administrators start with 1% of the company, they can grow to 5-7%
- Administrators will not be paid
- Lead Moderators will not be paid
- Moderators will not be paid
A few thousand USD? It seems like paying a developer $15 one-time to make a plugin would be a lot more advantageous to you than offering a percentage monthly?
