No, I'm not creating unnecessary drama. This thread is to serve as an example for everyone, and I hope you get to learn something from it.

I'm sure many of you saw that Owen is banned. Quite unfortunate, really, considering he attempted to scam me out of a cape code. I'm not going to go into the logistics of it all, but I will just say it was very dissapointing.

Now the overall discussion is: why has it come to the point where we can no longer trust even our closest friends? I knew Owen very well. I've been friends with him since he registered last summer. And yet I can no longer trust him. Isn't that what hurts most?

Comment below with a time you felt you were betrayed by a close friend. And if this has never happened to you, how would you feel if it happened to you?

Should never trust an "online friend" especially that you met of a market.
There all kids, literally that have no respect or concept of loyalty and just want a quick buck.

I don't know. After all, it was thanks to my friend who was middlemanning the deal that I didn't get scammed (Boi )

in all honesty, you can't trust half these people on the internet let alone IRL. Computers have made it so much easier to put this guise on to amuse, entertain and befriend those who are easily manipulated and it's hard to see. That is why i steer clear with contacting anyone online and who don't know personally for many years. Though this goes with friends off the virtual atmosphere) it's a tad easier to seek some form of help if they scum you over. It's sad that even the closest friend can become your darkest enemy and can just easily cut many years of friendship with a simple selfish act. I do hope you recover from your lose and don't build borders around those who truly have good intentions and want to become friends with you!

i think its just the way it is these days sadly
i mean looks at all the TOS for builds/plugins/graphics, its all done because ppl scam each other and its sad but if you let your guard down chances are ppl will try and rip you off as much as they can.
