Hello and welcome to the Kithex Build Team thread! Kithex is a professional Minecraft build team founded by KitMencha & LuthexColbark in 2012. Since 2012, Kithex has underwent many changes till its point today. We aren't just a build team, we're a family. We are a tight-nit group of individuals who try to challenge ourselves and bring new innovation into the art of building, terraforming and redstoning. We are an official build team of the MCGamer Network (MCSG).​

Leader - The founder and owner of Kithex and its funds, KitMencha. The Leader reserves the right of final say in regards to the team, its management and funds.


Admin - The Leader's right hand men and women who help make key decisions for the future of Kithex, our projects and the team. When the Leader is not around, they are in charge. They are trusted with access to important documents, panels and server files. They are the administrators of the team.


Developer/Server Operator - The people who run the server. The Server Operators are there to help out with configuring plugins, setting up portals, exporting worlds. They are very important to our team as without them, there would be no builds. They have the same jurisdiction as the Admins.


Mod - Mods keep the team in line and make sure that the team members are following rules and are on task when needed. Each Mod has a designated task within the management and operation of the team. They help give us status reports on projects and help out with running activity checks on the builders. Mods also review applications and host build sessions.

Specialist - Specialist is the rank following Architect+. These team members assist Mods by leading small teams during build sessions as well assist the Kithex staff team in coordinating sessions.

Architect+ - Architect+ is the rank given to Architects (See below) once they have proven to be an elite member of the team in regards to building skill, but also the ability to work in a team, working attitude.


Architect - Architects aren't just people who build maps. They are thinkers, planners and crafters of masterpieces. Not just a construction workers. Hence why we call our builders, Architects, as they are more than just "builders". Here at Kithex we do not separate people according to Terraformer, Builder, Redstoner, etc. We want our builders to feel a part of a team but not categorised. We allow all Architects access to World Edit & Voxel Sniper. I mean, how can you terraform, without Voxel Sniper, right?

All members in our team are paid a percentage of each commission we get.

How Can I Join?

Application

Kithex is a high standard build team aiming to achieve the best quality builds. As such to join the team you need to apply. The application process intends to reveal your personality as well as touch base on your building capabilities. Your building skills will be tested in the Trial stage where you will be given a plot where you have to demonstrate your skills.

If you wish to apply to join our team for any position, please click me to be redirected to a Google form.

If you are applying for a cinematic position please provide at least 2 videos of your work in the form of YouTube links.

Before you apply you must meet the following requirements:​

• Have a working microphone.​
• The ability to use TeamSpeak.​
• The ability to work as a team.​
• You must be at least 12 years of age.​
• Good communication skills.​

If your application is good we may ask you to do a trial build on our server or if we know your work from the past we may, in some cases, fast track you into the team.

Scouting

If we believe you would be an asset to the team, in very rare cases we may give invitations to join the team.

Returning Members

If you were previously a member of Kithex and were removed from the Team, you'll not have to undergo a Trial (though you still need to apply here on this thread), but you'll receive the Architect rank no matter what rank you held previously.

This build team is great, my server which is a work in progress, has recently hired them to build a 150x150 spawn for us and they did great, not only did it look great but they finished it more than a week ahead of schedule.

This build team Is extremely talented and by far the best team I have worked with. I will be coming back to them for any build I will need and can depend on them to get it done by a set date!

I can definitely recommend the Kithex build team. They're skilled, always act in a professional manor, and make sure things are done your way. They understand what you want - which is terribly important when it comes to perfecting your spawn, server or the feeling that you want your server to have. In addition, they're not expensive!

Vouch ... commissioned them to do a small, re-usable mini game lobby for me. Did it in great time, did a couple of revisions I asked for, and generally made it a great experience. One of the best builders I've worked with and will go on my list of people to contact first when I need stuff.

Why do you want to join Kithex?: I want to join Kithex for the joy of building and the indirect appreciation recieved from doing so. I love building for different servers and always did it for free just for that joy. Attempting to get onto the Hypixel Build Team reinvigorated my love of building and made me strive to do much better. You can tell the difference as well between my video and the HPBT Member build (I am now a Novice). I have recently started looking for a new team to join to share that love of building, and I believe that Kithex is the one. Kithex has very good structure, talented architects, and have projects under their belt and can help improve my building even further.

Why does Kithex need you?: I can picture something in my head and make it a reality on here which is something most people cannot boast. I have been on a build team since 2013 and have consistently improved since then. I am always learning how to be a better builder and can learn in a fairly quick manner. I pay extra attention to detail and try to make the build as good as possible. There is almost always an idea for a new and different style of build in my head that just needs to have a catalyst to enact it. I have also led teams in (Pixelmon.net) and out of game (Engineering Design) to design something with which I was proud of.

Themed builds ranging from Christmas, Magical, Futuristic etc, I am also very familiar with different ages/cultures through time eg. Modern, Medieval, Egyptian, Stuard etc. I can also create large objects such as big unique trees and large animals/beasts with convincing poses. I also know Worldedit inside and out and I am highly skilled in terraforming. I can do cinematics as I own a decent computer which can record shaders alomg with Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro video editing programs.

Why do you want to join Kithex?: I think my talent is good enough for a build team. I also have made many builds for different servers and so I have experience in this position. I want to extend my abilities and improve alongside other members who are equally talented as I am. Its difficult to build with people who are not at the same level as you if you get me. This would also give me a great opportunity to learn more and make new friends.


Why does Kithex need you?: I definitely see myself as a unique builder and it would be really nice to share my building methods/ideas with you. I am a trusted and respected player on all the servers I play on and I am very active. Also, I cooperate a lot better when I'm building with another player and that is why I think I would be a good candidate for your team.
