Recently I saw somewhat of an influx of people requesting anticheats and people selling anticheats and I've seen how many people who attempt to sell someone an anticheat is bullshitting whether it's custom, not skidded, etc. I am here to give you some tips on how to prevent yourself from being scammed from buying a complete ripoff.
Tip #1: Ask for code snippets and package names, if he doesn't want to show you, stay away from him and move on. Don't risk it, but if he does show you, try to match how it looks with other anticheats who show their package names and code snippets, or you can ask some reputable Anticheat developers in the market such as Ygore (I don't know if he'll actually respond through MCM though) to confirm whether it's something ripped off, or legit.
Tip #2: Check who is the developer of it. If the developer is from someone reputable and a confirmed Anticheat developer such as Ygore user7089, funkemunky etc. then you know you're almost always gonna get something amazing. Just make sure you verify they are who they claim to be, don't wanna buy from an impostor.
People to stay away from for anticheats:
The Break.Pro team - No offense, but we know that AC.Pro/Rip (Whatever it's called) is skidded. Leo knows it himself, just won't admit to it. I have people who can confirm it is as well.
The Security Team - Skidders, nothing more, nothing less.
Unreputable people who have no background history/vouches for developing anticheats
Tip #3: Just buy from reputable sources such as Spigot if you wanna be on the safe side. This market is filled with scammers and I personally think it's not worth the risk of your money. Pay a huge sum for a good anticheat from someone reputable, or save yourself a bit and get a decent anticheat from spigot.
List of anticheats I would recommend for starting off with:
Phantom Anticheat (D3thPhantom, though PAC has been slacking a lot)
Fiona Anticheat (funkemunky)
Firefly Anticheat (If you can convince Ygore and user7089 to sell you it)
AAC + AAC Addition Pro (Good mix, good protection from those kiddie hackers, not that much against those who know what they're doing)
I will constantly be updating this with more information, but these are just the basics to help you out before you consider buying an Anticheat.
