The bots are coded for in javascript. Nodejs takes chrome's V8 engine and adds some additional features so that it can be run directly from a powershell/command prompt instead of through a browser like most javascript. I don't think I'd be able to give lessons at this time because I've got school exams coming up soon and if I wanted to get into teaching I'd need time to set that up properly and make sure I do a decent job
