Hello All!
Today, I am going to be showing everyone my custom spigot build that I've been working on for some time. If there is enough support and interest in this spigot, I will be releasing it publicly free! This spigot has been tested with 300+ players online and is designed for hardcore factions / practice style servers. (1.7.x - 1.8.x)
If there is interest built around this spigot fork, I will be more than happy to keep it up to date and release it.
Commands:
/freezemobs
FreezeMobs is an inspired command from MineHQ to reduce lag on a server. If performance is becoming an issue on a network, /freezemobs can be off use as it reduces server stress and mob tracking is not necessary.
/protocol
This is not needed, and doesn't really make any effect to performance. Just a cool feature and could be helpful for certain things.
/mobai
Can be used this disable MobAI
/spawnerrate
Just another cool command! Can help reduce lag if entities are spawning to much!
Features:
I've built in an in depth knock back system into this spigot that is unlike most. I've designed the knock back system to be as consistent as possible. I will get a video up if people are interested to see how it works!
I've been inspired by numerous different spigot builds I've seen in the past and noticed there is no good spigot released to the community. If you have anymore questions regarding this spigot build or would like to see anymore additions, please don't hesitate to give me your ideas.
