Laptop screen smashed

Fell over yesterday, injured myself. My laptop was in its case and DESPITE THE PADDING, the screen was smashed. I'm using the TV at home to work now... this sucks.

Thankfully I was getting a replacement anyway, which comes in 2 weeks. This is going to be a pain.

(Not to mention, I have to loan the laptops from school if I want to do anything on a computer).

Yay me.

I've left my laptop in during a thunderstorm but never had it fried. Even if there was a surge, it would likely be protected anyway. Aha

Happened to me once, I went away for 2 days on a school trip came back to a smashed laptop screen, thankfully my mum was upgrading her PC so I got her old one, which was my older brothers PC that he custom built, so in the end, I got a total upgrade.....

Still have the laptop on top of my cupboard...

Damn that sucks. If your laptop was smashed while you were away anyway, you couldn't have been expected to upgrade yourself. Good that your mum did for you.

Oh no, I meant that if your parents forced you to upgrade yourself, it'd be really wrong.

Yeah it'd be destruction of property. If they assaulted you then it would be assault.
