I rather save money than spend it on an expensive computer, especially one you can't take when you're travelling a lot.
I'm not sure if this is a joke or an idiotic post either way I'll consider it as both, first off, my server is Australian based so income isn't much like US servers. Secondly I don't care how much your friend Flap makes, he still owes me $35 from the plugin he said he'd complete which he never as he had no "time" on his hands then when I asked for a payment he said his PayPal was "fucked".
Make a time travel plugin compatible with multiverse where if you pay some really expensive item you get tped to a world that records the events of the main world with a 10 minute delay and give 10 minutes for a player to change what happened in the last ten minutes of the first world. This world would record previous player and mob movements and have to have some way to influence them. So if you hit a mob that was just walking along it exits what happened previously and attacks you. I guess you might need players in the recorded world to have an ai like a mob when they get hit too. Then at the end of the 10 minutes switch the delayed world with the regular world. The price to time travel would have to be really expensive or the rollback for players who didn't time travel would happen too much and just be annoying.
It would be like the nuke of a factions server. You lose a battle and all of your gear so you take a dragon egg or whatever the fuck out of a chest and eat it and suddenly you have a second chance.
Is that original enough?
It would be a shitload of work to pull off, but it would probably be the first instance of the concept of time travel working in a multiplayer game as a strategy, well unless someone knows of a game I don't know about.
Of course 10 minutes would be 18000 backups constantly stored before having to be loaded in sequence when someone activated the item. Probably not possible. But hey, maybe you have a smarter idea of how it could be done.
