ChromeIV#3231

DETAILS
Learn the fundamentals of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and use this knowledge to develop plugins for Minecraft! We will go through everything you need to know to give you a solid foundation on your future programming career. By the end, you will have 4 functioning plugins. Plugins will be developed after supplemental knowledge has been understood and will each receive less aid from me for later plugins unless needed. If my assistance is still needed throughout the majority of the final project, we will revisit past information and will work towards implementation on one final project. There will be 10 small projects unrelated to Minecraft which will be created while learning the fundamentals of OOP. You will have a total of 20 personal sessions which can be scheduled at your convenience with a limit of 3 per week and a minimum of 1 per week. Sessions will last about 45 minutes (can be shorter), maximum of 15 total hours of face to face interactive learning.

How do you survive 7 classes a semester?!? Also, I suggest you reconsider your pricing as your current structure comes out to $1 per hour which last time I checked is significantly lower than minimum wage xD

May I ask why your planning to have them use eclipse over IntelliJ? also why do they require windows, I myself use linux half the time and windows the other half your limiting your clientele based on their operating system.

Good questions.

I personally use Eclipse and it is free to download. Simply put, I do not want to teach multiple people and not know who is using which. It's easier to give step by step instructions when limiting variations. This is to ensure that what you receive is as concise as possible.

I specifically work with Windows and do not wish to teach people of varying operating systems as I will not be as reliable to a Linux user compared to a Windows user. These decisions were made with the intention of ensuring I can provide quality service to everyone who meets the criteria.

I want to give everyone the opportunity no matter their financial standing to learn such a valuable skill. The scalability of the concepts you can learn from Minecraft at such a young age are amazing. Also, taking 7 classes is a thrill few can understand. It is so horrible, only a mad man would do this to them self.[DOUBLEPOST=1597376127][/DOUBLEPOST]

These are just the requirements for me to proceed, i'm sorry if they offend you in some way or another. As of right now, the prerequisites stand as is and will for the time being.

-Cheers!

Due to a surge in requests, I have increased the price for new enrollments (after 8/13) from $15 to $30. I am flexible with this price, however I encourage this amount be paid. This pays for a few meals while i'm in college and I can't work on an empty stomach
