Thanks a lot! Didnt even know that existed lmaoThis is a great resource for you... https://www.spigotmc.org/wiki/spigot-plugin-development/
Thanks for the tip!I would recommend you learn java first and make a few console programs first. Also, learning OOP (Object Oriented Programming) can help a lot with creating plugins.
Best of luck and make sure you enjoy what you are doing!
Thanks for the tip! You maybe have an idea on a small project u could start with? The best advice is just make shit. work through the problems one at a time instead of trying to get a massive overall experience. It'll make you learn the basics much faster.
Alright thanks bro!My personal starting projects were things like potion commands for factions servers and a blackmarket plugin, the latter makes use of the Vault API so it'll be good to help you get some basic API experience since you'll probably be using it a lot.
Offer free small plugins is the best way to start. Thanks for the tip! You maybe have an idea on a small project u could start with?
Thanks for the tips bit that seems to be extremely outdated..[DOUBLEPOST=1603776888][/DOUBLEPOST]I don't code, but you can check out this YT playlist by Pogostick

Yeah exactly that was my plan 2, I just dont know what kind of hahaOffer free small plugins is the best way to start.
That is true lmaoI mean, a language is a language, the way to code didn't randomly change![]()
Go to development and then make a thread saying you are a new developer looking to learn how to code, and say that you are giving out small plugins etc etc. That is true lmao
It's not even a tip, it's a must in my opinion. Developing plugins without even basic Java knowledge is going to make things so hard and you will eventually have to learn Java either way.The best tip: learn java before developing plugins
