Learning to Code Plugins

I really want to learn how to code plugins - I just need to be taught the basics or given links and someone who I can ask for help, I would really appreciate it.

Also if someone could explain things and give me download links (to Eclipse <---- I think :/). It looks quite fun.

On youtube search Java Tutorials, follow a few playlist threw while practicing along the way.
Then maybe find some good java textbooks. Well anyway once you learn some java then start learning the bukkit api.

Let's be honest, I'm 90% sure he's going to google some Bukkit tutorial and completely disregard all the people telling him to learn Java first.

Cant really blame him creating plugins is fun. But in the end thats not the right way to go.

You need to learn Java before Bukkit. Else you will have a very hard time...

True, but in all honesty, as far as I've been able to tell, it seems most plugin devs are the opposite.
