Leonex is a very friendly mapmaker with very reasonable prices. I had commissioned quite a big and complex map (Earthkingdom world, based on Avatar the Last Airbender). There were a lot of details he had to keep in mind and he also had to work with a resource pack. Whilst the job was very challenging and it took a bit longer than we originally had expected (but I suppose this is normal since the map I commissioned was that complicated and big!), I'd recommend Leonex to anyone who is searching for a mapmaker that can provide good service! It wasn't always easy to understand each other because of the complexities of my map (and us 2 speaking a different language), but ultimately he gave me a map I'm very happy with.
It was a pleasure working with him and I'll definitely reconsider going to Leonex again if I'm looking for commissioning more maps. Aside from work-related stuff, he's also a great and friendly guy to chat to!

Leonex did his job good and fast. I'm very satisfied with what he delivered.
Even though English is not is first language (and you notice that), he always understood what I wanted/meant.
He took care of every single change I wanted and did his work very fast. He delivered the final product the day after I ordered the map, even though I didn't give him a time frame, and that's only due to the many small changes I requested.
I will definitely let him do my map making again, if I need it in the future.

Amazing work! He made four maps for my roleplay server and was extremely fast. Patient and helpful with questions as this was my first time using MC Market. Considering the speed, price, and friendliness, I can't see myself using any other service.
Leonex is fast and professional. He did a detailing job for a map I began to create and made it 1,000 times better than it was. I've already got more projects in mind for him to work on in the future. He's really an excellent mapmaker

Saying that, we do have two minor issues we want to bring forward.
PRICES
Much like most of you, we were drawn to Leonex's services due to the very competitive prices he offered ($80 for 8k) and the quality he produced.
Unfortunately when speaking to him, he advised his prices on the thread were no longer accurate by around 50% due to the increase in his ability. Now we're were still fine with that, however it does feel a little dishonest that over a month later his price increase still has not been updated on this thread for potential new clients.
COMMUNICATION
We paid a 50% deposit and was advised that he 4 jobs in front of ours with one to be finished that day, we were perfectly fine with this and didn't need to "jump the queue".
The problem arose when our map had not been started nearly a month later with very little communication, mostly coming from us asking for a status update.
I am not sure of your work load Leonex, put I'd suggest a simple message to clients that are waiting to let them know that you're still alive and work will start X time every week or two.
FINAL VERDICT
If you're not in a rush to have a map made and want high quality at a good price, go with Leonex. He was able to take a rough map draft created in google sheets and turn it into an amazing world!

This mans a legend! He did great work for creating a high quality map that was affordable, and even was able to assist well after the transaction was complete when circumstances caused me to lose access to the world. 11/10 would recommend to anyone in need of a truly custom world.
Absolutely legendary map making skills. Literally made this account just to post and support. Made me an 8000x8000 map using a map I created on photoshop, and a few descriptions, and then using his own intuition managed to make it 10x better than I had even imagined, and for a super affordable price. Will be coming back again in the future once my server has kickstarted. Thank you again man!

Super fast and high quality map, very flexible with fixing any issues
I commissioned Leonex to make me a map for 1.12 back before 1.13 came out. With 1.16 on the horizon, I realized my map was a little outdated. I came back to Leonex, and we agreed on a good price to get the map revisited. He redesigned the cave systems under the surface, they are far more interesting. Leonex entirely redesigned the flower fields to incorporate the new flowers, and adjusted the trees. The trees are better with variation in the leaves, including new birch trees. He also snuck in berry bushes in the spruce forest, so now we are caught up on most resources we lacked. In the previous map, there was no sugar cane, but he added those in as well. The biggest change though, was the water. All of the lakes, and the oceans have been greatly deepened dozens of blocks, and have amazing fields of kelp, coral fans, sea pickles and sea grass. It's beautiful, expansive, colorful, and glows. It has a cool affect on shorelines. He was able to accomplish this all in 2 days. I definitely reccomend Leonex, he has great quality at a great speed.
Commissioned Leonex to build a fairly large map for our server. What he produced from a pretty vague plan, is incredible and far beyond what I expected. Prices seem reasonable especially for the quality of his work. At the time of ordering my map I was made fully aware that he had multiple other projects to do before mine and that I should be prepared to wait 1 - 2 months but this was not a problem for us. His timescale ended up being bang on with the map being completed in 1 1/2 months.
Whilst the map was being made I was sent regular update photos which was great and even though I asked for several things to be changed slightly, this was done with no problems at all.
Leonex is a friendly mapmaker who is quick to reply to his messages which is more than can be said for others. I can not recommend him highly enough.

AMAZING WORK! Could not be more satisfied! We commissioned Leo to do a 10k x 10k map for our realistic medieval building server. He delivered 100%. His conditions were very clear, and once he started working on the map he gave us daily updates on the progress so that we could stay caught up and mention any details we imagined differently. Starting from a humble rough map from photoshop, he created an immersive world our team is elated to build on. With fair prices and wonderful work, I would recommend Leo 100%!

I needed a simple, small icy island with a little mountain but what I got was a decently-sized winter isle with great detail and an astonishing set of hills, it's way more than I imagined and could have asked for. Before coming to Leonox, I went around several building teams, each asking for over 50 USD and to take a couple of weeks, but Leonox did it for 7 USD and from sending a friend request on discord to receiving my map, it only took him an hour to complete my order! While I admit his English is not the best, he definitely puts the effort in to understanding what you want and lets not forget about how nice he is! Just absolutely amazing.
