Seeing all these staff get demoted is because they are inactive on the site

Scam reports get accepted by inactive staff all the time and then nothing is done and that is why scammers run rampid on the site

For example: Lotus is completely useless when it comes to scam reports and I would prefer if Kram could do it

Just let all staff handle one report they will get done faster as a team

Such a position requires experience and trust built up over many months (or even years); it's not one to be simply handed out to all staff members.

Allowing all staff members to take on such a role is not the solution to the delays and backlog - what you're suggesting would greatly increase the risk of scam reports being handled incorrectly, which in my view, is much worse than there being delays.

Considering both current SR's were promoted within four months of becoming staff (Kram 1 month, Lotus 4ish) your statement is completely false lol

increase the risk of scam reports being handled incorrectly,

It's already a mess, everyone working on them couldn't make it any worse.

By all means - Mick or Justis responds to pretty much all suggestions, good or bad - so you'll need to wait.

All scam resolvers then not all staff
There are only two scam resolvers currently - Lotus and Kram (with Justis handling the ones he's left, but not opening anymore himself).

There is literally only one at the moment Lotus is absolutely useless when it comes to them and he should be a chat mod and someone else should take his position

I understand where you're coming from, I definitely agree more scam resolvers need to be hired and one of the current ones needs to be re-evaluated, but I don't agree with the claim that all staff should handle one dispute. I think that only one resolver needs to handle a dispute, as it's one opinion and if there's more than one resolver handling a dispute, there may be mixed opinions and overlapped messages. I slightly agree with your suggestion, but if I could tweak the suggestion, I'd phrase it as:
  • Hire way more Scam Resolvers
  • Re-evaluate one of the current ones
  • Ensure Scam Resolvers are active :)
  • Ensure Resolvers read the dispute before accepting
  • Get disputes done faster and better
In the end, though, Mick reviews suggestions and denies most of them because they've been suggested in the past. I don't know for sure, but I would imagine they're working on this and trying to roll it out as soon as possible, but their batches of updates don't come out bit by bit and it's hard to find unbiased and trustworthy Scam Resolvers, as they have lots of power on MC-Market - Just my two cents. Let me know what you think.

Add one more advert on the sidebar on mcm and spend the advertising costs on hiring proper experienced and dedicated scam resolver that will get paid.

No.

Some staff members are not on the right field for it. Some were* so bias that you get warning points for calling out their ways. I trust Kram more than any other staff member here, and Justis however you should look at the history of some of the demotions and why people left?

Remember BucketOfSloths?

see but the thing is, Offender has had someone on 48 hours to respond for over a month and I have had one for 2 weeks both handled by Lotus.

So the solution isn't to make every staff member a Resolver (even if they're unqualified for the position). It means more should be hired and current Resolvers should be pressured into handling reports faster and more actively.

While your points about the delays in scam reports are completely valid, your solution is not. We have had some incredibly rapid expansion of our staff team over the past few months, but unfortunately, we've not been making internal promotions fast enough to promote people far enough up the ladder to become scam resolvers just yet.

We absolutely do intend to promote more scam resolvers and continue to adjust which staff is each role, but your proposed solution just isn't a good one.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
