There is no actual benefit other than members being able to seep through messages by date started in case they want or need to find a conversation for whatever reason.

I think Mick mentioned that a filtering system is going to be implemented soon and this could be with of it. Now I don't know if that would be on profiles and such but it will be in forums for sure. If not I don't think it would be that hard to add.

I don't think I really understand what is wanted in this suggestion. It already is possible to filter forums by the start date of the thread or by the last reply by clicking on the "Start Date" and "Last Messages" text above the threads on the forum list.

I'll move this to denied I suppose? Thanks for the suggestion Eclipse
