Hello, my name is Jim (IGN Fams). Back in 2015, I ran a profitable 1.7/1.8 semi-OP factions server called LeviantMC that had a stable player base of 30-50 online daily until it was shut down due to hosting issues. Now, I want to restart that server and get it ready for opening by the end of June. I have all of my server's old files, the website is inactive but still there and the Buycraft website is up. The server itself is up now, but all of this is useless without staff members to manage it, so that's where you come in.
Available Positions:
-3/3 Helpers (Volunteer work)
-3/3 Moderators (Volunteer work)
-0/1 Sr. Moderator (Paid work)
-1/1 Network Administrator (Paid work)
I intend on paying upper-level management positions once the server is open to the public in June. Until then, you'd be keeping things in order with the staff (should any issues arise) and help get the server ready for opening. Paypal will be the method of payment. After the release, until we build a playerbase and start receiving donations, you will receive $10 weekly. It may not seem like much, but considering the server will be in its early stages with no players by that time, I think it's reasonable. Once donations start coming in, you will get a percentage of all donations each week.
Job Descriptions:
-Helper: Subordinate to Moderator, moderates chat, both in-game and Discord. 1-2 hours of gameplay each day required. Limited forum responsibilities. Records/reports any instances of cheating to a Moderator.
-Moderator: Subordinate to Sr. Moderator, acts as the Helper's mentor. Moderates gameplay and chat, both in-game and Discord. 1-2 hours of gameplay each day required. Manages forum community. Reports any issues between the community and staff to Sr. Moderator.
-Sr. Moderator: Manages both Helper and Moderator positions, manages community events, maintains order in the community and staff, reports any unsolvable issues to Network Administrator. Must be swift about responding to discord messages, especially if they're urgent.
-Network Administrator: Maintains the network (server, Buycraft, website, control panel) and communicates with the Sr. Moderator about bugs and detrimental issues within the community. Reports necessary information directly to the owner of the server.
Requirements to apply:
Helper: Age 14+
Moderator: Age 16+
Sr. Moderator: Proof of staffing experience (MUST HAVE) (at least Mod or higher). Preferably age 18+, but I'm willing to be lenient with this requirement. You must have the Discord app on your phone.
Network Administrator: Proof of network administrator experience. Demonstrate knowledge in server maintenance, community management, and plugins/config.
