Im 16 and I have no friends so I go mcm for life advice.
Im in a relationship and I also have growing feelings for someone else.
I don't know if I have a shot with the other person. What should I do?

(Blunt answer) Your relationship at 16 really doesn't matter. Less than 5% of high school relationships result in marriage. You'll meet new people in college and that fact that you can be in a relationship is great. You date at that young of an age so it's not super awkward later, so for experience primarily.

It's normal to be attracted to other people, especially at that young of an age with hormones and all that jazz. If there's nothing wrong with your existing relationship then don't stress over it so long as you love your current partner.

ugh i hate giving advice but here it goes

you have to analyze the risk/reward.

The risk you take if you ask out the other person you like is that you lose the person you're in a relationship with already - you have to assume there is a good chance your existing partner will find out what you did, and will not be happy about it.

The person you ask may end up saying no, so your reward isn't guaranteed.

With the information provided, i'd say it's a bad idea unless you'd rather be single than be with the person you have already.

When I was around your age, I was in a similar situation. I had very few friends that I spent time with and interacted with. Most the time I was online gaming and using forums like Mc-Market. What changed things for me and what really got me into making new friends was getting a job and joining clubs at school. Through these activities you'll meet like minded people who might end up becoming your friends.

As for the relationship, if it's not working out, end it. Don't be the scumbag who cheats on their significant other. It's just going to cause pain for everyone involved. Be honest with whoever you're dating and break it off if you have to. It's perfectly fine to become attracted to someone else but you should do the right thing and end your current relationship beforehand.
