(as you can see, they haven't been up for like 2 months, and their average is still at like 20-30 players)

As proof, I currently have the IP directed to my server. You can connect using 'lightpvp.net' or 'eu.lightpvp.net' as those are the domains they used.

No, I had a direct involvement with this server. I owned the server 'LostKits' before it merged with 'LightPvP' and when the owner decided to stop paying for it, I sniped it

Actually, no. I received many unique joins from players asking for their ranks back from LightPvP in the past day (I directed the domain to my server.)
