Limit Middlemen

Why doesn't mcm staff decides who should mm and who shouldn't? cause there's too many threads, many of them are from unexperienced people too and some are literally 0 rep asking to mm to gain reputation.

This just can't happen because it puts liability on MCM. Why do you think NONE of the staff are allowed to Middleman? This site is way different than the other site you're talking about, they run things completely differently. And about people having no reasons to scam there's literally a very easy reason for scamming: extra money. RTG used to be a trusted middleman, with over 100 rep and a pretty legit looking service with over $20k in deals: https://www.mc-market.org/threads/230163/. He exit scammed I believe over $2,000. This is also hypocritical.. You joined in december of 2018 meaning you haven't even been here a full year

i think you didn't read what i just typed, being trusted doesn't mean having rep on a forum. this is one of a million forums, i joined a forum 3 days ago, but i don't get scammed just cause i just joined. Someone who just joined the sales community, who just registered on his first forum wants to buy a fn acc, he doesn't know anything and will end up getting scammed by the first shit mm he finds.

100 rep is fucking nothing, do you get it? this is what's wrong with people here, they think 100 fucking rep is something, and they just see thru numbers. $2000 is nothing, means that he was done earning $1 every time he mm'ed and then decided to scam since he prob had no customer on this forum. True mms, at least those i know, on a single forum have atleast 1000 vouches, and are in the community, not the forum, since like 2012-13.

I'm not sure if you wrote this thinking that you would be one of these highly reputable middlemen or not considering you currently have a thread in that section.
While it is possible to only allow certain people to post in the middlemen section, it is not possible for us to prevent people from using other middlemen. While the section might be limited, people can and will try and to convince other people to go with another middleman they have in mind which could be for a variety of reasons, one of which could be simply that they trust that middleman more than the middlemen that have been approved to have a thread.
I don't believe limiting the section on this forum will have the benefit you have in mind.
This is very similar to the idea of making a "Trusted" rank and have staff decide who gets it which has been suggested and declined: https://www.mc-market.org/threads/380949/
Justis' post in that thread could work for this thread too. The minute staff starts picking who they see as reputable and giving them something to show it off, in this case, it would be the permission to have a thread in the middlemen section, those users will be seen as the ones that won't scam or are the best to do deals with.

As others have said, staff moderating who is allowed to middleman and who isn't implies a perceived trust that MCM has offered to middlemen. Instead, I much prefer having the forum be open and leave it up to our users to decide who they personally trust and who they don't.

you know my man, on a forum the staff members are supposed to ensure that nobody gets scammed, of course if the forum is shit you can go ahead and deny this suggestion
