Line Break Loses Color??

This is a problem I'm facing with a few plugins, is it server-side or client-side??
It's so annoying, after there's a line break in a message it loses its color. My friend said something about Json is broken but Idk what that means.. here's an example:

Try stretching your chat width. If the color remains throughout the whole message when your chat is wider, it's most likely a client side problem rather than a server problem. Maybe something to do with your resource pack.

Using MessageAnnouncer for the auto-broadcasts that are losing color.

It keeps color if I keep it on one line with chat scale, super weird. I find it fixes it if I add a &7 to the word before the line breaks, but due to everyone's different chat sizes it'll be a pain to put it before every word... what ever, needs to be done. Thanks for the help!
