Lion mascot feedback

Hey, guy's this is my first mascot I know there's no shading as I'm not too sure on where shading should go. Some feedback would be really nice thanks.

I like the general shape but the colors are too dark and simple, try using more vibrant colors and try look up mascot logos and see where the shading is

very good for a first! try using shadows (a darker shade of the main fill color), maybe add a glow to the eye and fix up some lines because they look a tad bit funky.
