List of people who have viewed your profile

Sorry for all my bug reports and suggestions recently, but here's another one.

This could be useful to some people and would be nice to have. Just a page where you could see who has viewed your profile. Shattered would find this useful, as he has said.

If you disagree, please tell me why.

me, I think it's fucking creepy, and should be possible to turn off from the viewer's point.

The use of that is to see when a user was last active. So you know if they're online or not.

I visit dozens of peoples profiles but that rarely ever means I plan on buying their stuff.

I think SMF has this by default and I hate it. It's really annoying, useless and it makes me feel like NSA is tracking me and not letting me have any privacy. I can already imagine kids saying "OMG Bosny viewed my profile" or "OMG Mick viewed my profile!". Even if it's made toggleable, I don't think it should be added.

nice Tu quoque you got there. Just because the 'person has viewed this thread' exists does not mean this should. I personally don't care for the tracking of thread viewers either, but it can be argued that seeing who views a thread does indeed mean they may buy your product. However, I see no reason to implement this for profile viewing. Few users view other's profiles to arrive at their offered service.

True, maybe not WHO, but HOW many. I actually like that, not gonna show you who did it, but at least give you an idea of how many did.

Also, lets say you released a product that day, if you see a obvious increase in profile views, you could consider that as an increase in possible customers.

I personally look at users profiles before doing deals with them to check for vouches/devouches.

Just seems like a completely needless change I think. I don't particularly see why we'd need this and it isn't worth getting anything custom made either.
