Litebans help.

Im trying to setup litebans plugin and on my site. So far i have got my plugin connected to mysql but when i try and connect my site to the mysql it says

Database error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2003] Can't connect to MySQL server on 'x.x.x.x' (110 "Connection timed out")

x.x.x.x is my mysql ip i put.

Are you using VPS / Dedicated or Shared hosting? A lot of hosts don't allow external connections to their SQL databases.

im using plox.host and for my site im using namecheap to host my website.
