A live chat would be a cool idea, actually - but there's no good ways to do it with XenForo. We'll keep it in mind if anything does come up.
There is a shout box on this forum for premium members only.
He doesn't mean a shoutbox, he means a personal chat instead of the inbox.

They're very obstructive.
Keeping it on the site would be better, we could log everything to stop people creating fake logs and so on - it also is less personal. Skype is a bad thing to use, a quick look at the scam reports will prove this to you.
I have a way to do it - but it's going to cost a lot of money, and that money can be used a lot better (and it is being - just wait!)
Honestly, I think a full chat system with a XenForo addon would cost upwards of $500.

To prevent bots from spamming you, have an option in user preferences or privacy to only allow live chat with people you follow? Or just an accept/deny message when someone wants to livechat with you
I have a better way of doing this, you associate an account with an MC-Market account or have it built in as an addon.
This seems like a nice add-on. Administrator Yea, that money could be used torwards something way better than live chat, but Live chat would be faster.
