Loan Service - Accept or Deny button

This is probably the best idea I've had so far... maybe for loan services, when people put their "applications" in the replies there should be a "Accept" or "Deny" button for the thread owner. That way if you press Accept it will delete the application and notify the applicant/client to chat in pm. If its denied it will notify the person that it has been denied and delete the thread.

This will prevent thread spam and staff will no longer have to do thread cleanups. It will make all threads look much cleaner and make things more efficient.

Or actually a denied or accepted reaction as not all posts on an investment/loan thread are loan requests... Would also save a lot of development time/money...

why would you need a thread cleanup

So you don't have 20 pages of spam and old/banned posts won't stay under your thread.

This kind of thing has been suggested before, yet staff would rather things like bids or applications stick to messages/replies as systems like these take time and money to develop, when we can just make use of the forums system we already have in place. This wouldn't really be worth it. It'd be nice for the select few who get a ton of loans, but isn't a necessity.

There are tons of banned/denied members that still have posts on loans, personally I think this would be a good investment.

Even if this were added that doesn't just get rid of the posts from before this. You'd still have to get a thread cleanup, which isn't really a thing staff does anyways. They have more important stuff to do than remove posts (besides those obviously breaking rules). Just seems like a waste of time and money when there's more important things here which could be added and improved on. There's countless pending suggestions.

This is such an oddly specific thing to implement and there's no real benefit to this. A system like the one you're suggesting would waste development time and this might save you what, 10 seconds per applicant for a loan?

Just reply to the person whether you're going to loan them or not, or if having a clean thread is a concern, tell the user to send you a PM asking for the loan.
