Hello all,
I have been playing Minecraft since I first heard about it on Yatzhee's Zero Punctuation video reviews around 2012.
Since then, it has been a game and platform that I lose myself in regularly.
I am genuinely amazed at how much content is both in the game and can be created with the game.
I have been building a start-up for the past year now that focuses on effectively integrating short-form minecraft games within school lessons.
I own and operate my own server where I have been building these various mini-games.
These games become a key teaching tool in my full time job as a middle and high school teacher.
I have already done over 20 live demos in my classes.
The students have been thrilled and they are able to remember key information much better.
My objective is to build a platform that enables the full integration of Minecraft within schools.
I am working on making it the next essential teaching tool, the same way computers, projectors and powerpoint evolved the classroom and the way students learn and recollect information.
I will be posting here regularly and offering paid employment/projects as the start-up progresses.
I look forward to learning from and engaging with what this community has to offer.
