So I wanna get into BTC and other crypto a little, and looking for a BTC/ETH wallet from which I can transfer small amounts of crypto but which also lets me store bigger sums. Do you have any suggestions?

I was told to stay away from hot wallets, should I consider buying a hardware wallet. Also, what do you think about Electrum it was recommended to me on a different site?

I‘m not a big fan of web wallets bc they’re less secure and not really convenient for bigger sums...do you have any alternatives?
