Lookin to host a private modded server

Hey all so pretty much a couple of mates and i wanna host our own private server running the crackpack modpack from the ftb launcher. Looking for a nice provider that allows us to change the map and stuff like that. not sure exactly how much ram and stuff is needed so that would be helpful info as well. Their is only going to be like max 10 people on the server at one time. Also must be hosted in Australia Sydney/Melbourne preferred

Would Los Angeles work for you? Generally, LA has pretty good connection to east Asia

No that gives around 250ish ms the servers have to be Australian.

Hey, a lot of the smaller hosts struggle to maintain Australia locations due to the lower demand. You'll likely need to go with a more mainstream host, especially if you want a high quality of service - since Aus bandwidth is expensive.

I know it doesn't help now - but Crident will likely expand our current Australia location to support Minecraft this year.

Personally, I can't recommend one to you, because I haven't experienced them, I live in the UK. OVH seem good - so any providers that use OVH would be a good solution. They're going to be one of the best in Australia for MC ddos protection

Thanks i'll have a look. ddos prot isn't a must since its a private server to just have a bit of fun on with mates and i doubt it would get ddossed aha

Yep, we have a built in modpack installer and we can also help you install any other modpacks not listed manually if you need assistance.
