Windows servers always seem to cost more, to cover the windows server licence, they don't preform as well as Linux VPS. I would recommend learning how to use those. They aren't as difficult as you might think, it took me only a few hours to learn the basics, and the more advanced things come with time.

The OVH windows VPS's aren't as cheap. Starting at $9 for only 2Gb RAM.

I didn't know Windows costs more. Mine cost $3/m with Ubuntu
