Hello there I am looking for a partner in a Minecraft Server that I am thinking about creating. I am prepared to invest $100 into it at the first month and then $40 every month after that. I am wanting someone who can help me achieve the goal of having a consistent 20 players online after the first 6 months. I can code in java and can make alot of simple plugins that can help the server. I have had experience being staff on other servers as well.
Requirements:
- Be willing to invest at least $50 the first month, and then at least $10 per month for the next 3 months.
- Age between 14 and 17 (So you are around my age)
- Some sort of experience with servers, not strictly required but if you dont have any please let me take the lead
- Willing to talk in voice chats
- Willing to dedicate time
- Passionate about this
What type of server:
- I would think it would be best that it started off at first as a SMP/Towny/Kingdoms server
- The next server we will goto will be factions or skyblock, if we raise enough funds I would suggest starting both the SMP/Towny/Kingdoms server alongside the factions or skyblock server
How will the money be spent:
- We will need to buy hosting, I have estimated the cost to be in the region $10 - 15 per month, (for just a survival server)
- We will not need to buy many(if it all ) premium plugins, since I already have acsess to a few usefull ones and I can re-create other ones.
- We will need to buy an anticheat, since we are on a tight budget competitive I would suggest the anticheat budget to be at a maximum $25
- We dont need to hire developers, I can do that myself and I have a few friends willing to help out with that
- The majority of our budget will be spent on advertisment, at least initallly. We can advertise on places such as reddit and other platforms with targetted adverts.
How do we generate revune:
- I open to all methods, as long as they are not extremly pay to win
- Initially we can get them via donations from dedicated players
Payouts:
- 20% all profits will go back to the server, at least in the first few months.
- The remaining will be divided up between us based on how much we each invested. For example, if you invested $60 in total, and I invested $140 in total. It would be split between us 30%/70%.
When will this happen:
- I will have enough money to begin this in approximatly 8 days.
