trust me i started a server like many others on here, It Will Not Work unless your going all out or atleast almost going all out. There are so many servers out there, that to stand out you need resources/people/ads. In my opinion, have about $500 or more before you start running your own server expecting actual profit. I would suggest investing your money but seeing that you need a partner that can pay the bills, im assuming you dont have a job yet or your not ready to invest money into the server yet. But take this advice seriously, I almost went into a loss but got extremely lucky to sell my server for about what I invested in it.
