Hey,
I own minecraft-list.com, I'm looking for a developer to simply:

- Fix/connect google ads so they work.
- Improve loading times on the site (currently its really slow).

If you are interested to take the job reply to this thread w/ your price for this job, any efforts in pm's or finding my skype will simply be ignored since I don't need to be flooded with 100's of requests.

This is non negotiable:
You will receive half of the agree'd amount up front, then until completion of the work you will receive the second half.

Thanks for your time.

I'd be happy to help out, free of charge as this is a very simple task. Feel free to PM me on here or add my manager on Skype (kmcgin01) and tell him SSL sent you.

I'd be happy to do this.
I could do this for something around £30 (GBP)

I believe your main problem is the size of the banners. I could either setup a caching solution, which means the initial load time will remain the same, but they will remained cached for 48 so won't be loaded again, instead stored in the clients browser.

Or if you wanted something more permanent, your best bet is setting up a JavaScript loading solution which would load a low res version of the banners for the initial page load, and improve them after the page has loaded. This option however, I would charge something more around the figure of £45 (GBP).

EDIT:
The above option would require a compressed version of the image to be made in PHP not JavaScript, and as a result of this, all images that have already been uploaded will need to be compressed somehow too. I can do some research into this if its something you're interested in.

My Skype: [email protected]

Regards,
Jon

Thanks for the detailed look into the issue, you seem like the guy who knows where to start.
I've contacted you via skype, verify its me ;)

Thanks for the offer however I'm slightly skeptical since your offering it for free and you joined yesterday.

I may have joined yesterday but I know my way around a site. I could provide you with my full portfolio if needed. If you don't want free help that's on you.
