I currently am running a public Pixelmon modded server on Cauldron 1.7.10

Recently I have run into the problem of players connecting using a "Poke-radar" mod
(most likely: Gameshark for Pixelmon 1.7.10 & 1.8 - Find Pixelmon with ease! - Minecraft Mods - Mapping and Modding - Minecraft Forum - Minecraft Forum)

And unfortunately after scouring the Internet I cannot find a way to prevent users from abusing the entity detector this plugin gives them, which gives them an advantage by allowing them to find rare and hidden Pokemon much easier.

I would very much like to block this sort of client side mod onto my server, however I do not contain the knowledge to fix it myself, therefore I'm looking for some help!

If anyone has ideas or can make me something that can help I would be extremely grateful.

I'm aware it is possible to prevent due to some other Pixelmon server blocking the mod, and not allowing players to connect with non-whitelisted mods, or at least blacklisting the pokeradar mod

So if it's possible to somehow create a whitelist for mods allowed, for example I could allow the pixelmon mod, pixelmon sidemods, shaders, as well as Optifine, and possible a few others, but prevent players from joining with any other mods installed

Or someway to prevent players from using radars which show entities that would be very very helpful!

Thanks for any input you can give me on this matter.

I think I can help you out.
How much will I get paid?

Well, I don't really know. I'd really know an in-depth explanation on how it would work in order to be able to figure out how much time it would take you and give you a quote based on that. That being said generally developers quote there own prices based on how much time they are going to need to put into whatever they're working on.

I see you're new to this website and haven't really got any vouches, seems safer to work with someone that does have some especially when money is involved. If you are truly a developer maybe do some free work for users with high reputations to gain some vouches.

Well I guess that'll work. Although I don't really have very many "reactions" so it might not be as valuable as doing some free work for someone else. But I'd love the help, and will for sure give you a vouch if everything goes smoothly.

Do you happen to have skype?
