About MadBlock and the Team:
MadBlock is a fully custom fantasy themed mini game network on the Minecraft: Java Edition. At MadBlock we focus on creating the best and most high quality games and maps for our network while also focusing on making sure we have a strong and capable team that is able to work well together. Our team has many talented creators and leaders with impressive portfolios that help make MadBlock the quality it is.
What we're looking for:
We are looking for a full time front end developer that can work 40+ hours a week that loves Minecraft and is able to be a helpful and an active member on our team. As a front end developer you will be working with the MadBlock design team lead by Reddoz. You will be writing new mini games, cosmetics, events, maps and more while also helping out with network design.
Payment:
Starting payment will be between 600-800 USD per month through PayPal (you are welcome to negotiate when in your interview though remember we are a beginner network). Further down the line we will be willing to renegotiate payment and terms.
Minimum Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Must be able to sign an NDA
- Able to work well with a team
- Able to speak in call with our team while working
- Proficient in reading and writing Java code
- Experience with Git and Maven build system
- Ability to debug Java packages using stack traces
- Willingness to experiment
- Good sense for code structure
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with SQL and Redis databases
- Comprehension of Java Reflection
